DC Metro Tackles Trash on MLK Day
In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Higher Achievement DC Metro participated in the National Day of Service by picking up trash at the Ward 1 Achievement Center. The enthusiastic group fared the cold weather while cleaning up the public space at the Marie Reed Learning Center and the neighborhoods of Adams Morgan and Columbia Heights.
